This scholarship is very easy to audition for and everyone is eligible to win. The best part about this scholarship is that the winner will be an ambassador for everything (Thommie's Mom) Bette Retter stood for and everything she instilled in her own children. The scholarship has a value of just under $5,000! This scholarship is not a popularity contest! The winner is selected by Thommie's sister Sonja, who resides in The Great State of Michigan and has no connection to the children of Retter Entertainment. In order to earn the Bette Retter Memorial Scholarship, a student (between the ages of 9 & 17) must complete the following form by September 22, 2019!
  1. Write a one page essay on what the entertainment industry means to you personally.
  2. Record a video of yourself singing your best/favorite song from any genre.
  3. Record a video of yourself performing a dance routine. This video can be a routine or combination and it can include as many styles of dance as you wish to share.
  4. The "WILDCARD"! This can be anything you want as long as it is video content.

  • One Week scholarship to attend Retter Summer Dance Intensive (Los Angeles)

  • Participation in KOTA's production of High School Musical 
  • Participation in Dance Molinari Boot Camp
