MEET BECCA
Becca Retter resides in New York City with her husband Thommie and daughters Liza and Bella. Becca is known for the countless songs and dances as well as creative movement and technique classes she has created for the dance studio classroom. All of her creative and imaginative material is available through MusicWorks Unlimited and is respected coast to coast and around the world. Becca has the honor of being asked personally by the legendary Mr. Al Gilbert to carry on his life's work of creating age-appropriate songs, dances and technique. Becca is an expert at Al Gilbert's tap technique and has taught it to teachers from around the world at Dance Teacher Connection (DTC) and the D.E.A. training school in New York and Las Vegas.
Becca was featured in the “Terrific Tap” issue of Dance Studio Life Magazine where she was featured as an authority on child development in dance. She is recognized by MusicWorks Unlimited, Dance Makers, Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, Chicago National Association of Dance Master's, Southern Association of Dance Masters and Dupree Dance Expo.
She has performed at the House of Blues in Los Angeles & Las Vegas and on MTV in The Andy Dick Show. She has danced internationally in Canada, Denmark, Guatemala and Russia. Becca’s love and enthusiasm for dance make her a favorite among students and teachers and she always enjoys sharing her talents.
